BIBITEC on the Rise – New Facilities at CST Bielefeld and Visit from Nordmark Executive Board

On Friday, May 9th, we had the pleasure of welcoming a special visit at BIBITEC: the entire executive board of Nordmark was on site to get a first-hand look at our new facilities at the Campus Science & Technology (CST) Bielefeld.

Since mid-2024, we have been based at CST Bielefeld. The location provides exactly what we need for our current projects and future growth: modern office and laboratory spaces located directly next to each other, enabling optimal collaboration across teams. The spacious facilities not only offer ample room for our staff but also create ideal conditions to respond flexibly to customer inquiries and project demands.

During the visit, Prof. Dr. Dirk Lütkemeyer guided the executive board through the new spaces and presented detailed plans for their intended use and technical setup. A key next step will be the relocation of our laboratory equipment from the current premises at Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, scheduled for the second half of 2025. “Once this process is complete and all regulatory approvals are in place, our Bielefeld team will be fully operational from Q1 2026,” explained Prof. Dr. Dirk Lütkemeyer.

There was also ample time for in-depth discussions. We were especially pleased that colleagues from Uetersen joined via Teams to work together on further optimizing our cross-site collaboration.

After taking in many positive impressions, Jörn Tonne, Jörg Clemens, Henning Mallwitz, and Richard Nagorny made their way back to Uetersen. For us at BIBITEC, the visit was a meaningful sign of appreciation and strong support for our continued development.

Our conclusion:
With the new facilities at CST Bielefeld, we have reached an important milestone. They clearly signal our entry into the next phase of growth – and just like Arminia Bielefeld has moved up a league, we at BIBITEC have also successfully achieved our next level of advancement.
