BIBITEC – Successful Start at Two Locations

Since moving in back in 2022, we have been successfully operating our production facilities at the Nordmark Biotechnology Center on the southern side of the site. At the same time, we also moved into new office spaces, allowing us to now divide our operations across two locations: the new offices and production areas at Nordmark, as well as our ongoing R&D and office activities at Bielefeld University.

In the meantime, all equipment has been qualified, and we have successfully commenced GMP operations. The modern production facilities not only provide our equipment and staff with the necessary space and freedom of movement but also meet all requirements for GMP-compliant manufacturing.

Moreover, we benefit greatly from the close collaboration with Nordmark, particularly from their many years of experience in microbial hygiene monitoring. This direct connection enables us to implement projects efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Another major advantage is the flexibility offered by the new facilities. Especially in light of the numerous inquiries and contacts we generate at leading trade fairs such as BIO Europe and BIO USA, we can now offer potential customers pilot-scale capacity more quickly and flexibly. This gives us a clear competitive edge and strengthens our position as a reliable partner for cell culture processes.

We look forward to implementing further GMP projects with our customers and partners, expanding our collaboration with Nordmark, and continuing to grow our operations at both locations.
